1994 Toyota Land Cruiser VX Limited
I purchased a CLEAN JDM 80 series Land Cruiser from Jacob a few months ago. Being based on the East Coast, it seemed a little risky to buy sight unseen so Jacob held it for me until I could fly out to CA and take a look at the rig in person. He was transparent and forthcoming and we even cracked a few beers in his garage while talking cars. The entire process end to end was seamless and gave me the confidence to close the deal. He also helped managed the transport, which I greatly appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another JDM vehicle from Jacob. Great experience, trustworthy business, hell of a guy.

1994 Toyota Hiace Super Custom Limited
Landed my first JDM van (1994 Toyota Hiace SCL) and I couldn't be happier. Jacob went above and beyond to make the deal as painless as possible. All my questions were answered about the van and all the paperwork was legit complete with title. From Sacramento to Virginia Beach the van was in safe hands. The van was received in excellent condition considering it's over 25 years old.

1991 Daihatsu Hijet Fire Truck
I wanted a kei truck fire truck, because... who doesn't? I approached Jacob to see if he could help, and instead of laughing out loud he tracked down an absolutely perfect truck for sale in Japan. Somehow he located a 1990 Daihatsu Hijet fire truck with just 2500 miles on it. So minty! So adorable! So much yes. I decided to buy it. The process was an excellent experience from start to finish, with great communication along the way as we imported the truck to California. VFJ made it all easy, and I really really really really LOVE my truck!

1994 Toyota Hiace Super Custom Limited
In January 2021, I was perusing Craigslist and i saw it...a beautiful 1994 Toyota Hiace with 38k original miles that looked like it just rolled off the factory line. I thought to myself, is this too good to be true? I quickly (and hesitantly) contacted the owner of the Hiace expecting it not to be real, especially since I am in Oregon and the vehicle was in California. The transaction was transparent and smooth. Jacob coordinated everything for transport, had the paperwork dialed in, and the vehicle showed up in Oregon 3 days later. I could not be happier with my transaction and how professional Jacob is. I cannot say enough good things about VansFromJapan (Jacob). He made the process very easy, stress free, & personal to import my '92 HDJ81 Land Cruiser. I was in Sacramento recently. Much to my surprise, Jacob invited me to check out some of the vehicles that werent quite ready. 1990 Toyota Townace DX
Best car buying experience of my life! Jacob at Vans from Japan did a great job making the process easy. He responded to text and emails right away and answered all my questions, supplying many photos. He's up front and honest, this is important when buying a 30 year old vehicle! 1992 Toyota Townace A'm Craft Camper
I had a very positive experience buying my 1992 Toyota Townace camper van from Jacob! Start to finish, every step of the process was smooth. Jacob was a great communicator (prompt, clear replies to text and email), gave me all of the documents I need to register the van here in Oregon, sent me clear photos of the van before I placed my deposit, and even picked my buddy and I up at the airport when we flew to Sacramento to get the van.
