The KZH138 spec Toyota Hiace is THE Hiace to have if you are looking to build your own adventure van. The long wheel base and high roof paired with Toyota's 1KZ-TE turbo Diesel engine and Full-time 4WD system is an extremely rare combination. With the KZH138 you have the most possible room for a buildout in a Hiace platform, a truly highway capable engine (compared to the slow but steady "3L" NA diesel most commonly found in the larger variants), and a formidable 4WD system ready to tackle any terrain you throw at it (within reason - it is a van after all). This particular specimen is currently equipped with a minimalist camper setup and can be enjoyed right away - just toss in your gear and go. It has been recently updated with a 2" suspension lift, new KYB shocks, new BFG KO2 tires, and a factory snorkel. Cosmetically, it does have some flaws, but overall it is a solid rig with up-to-date maintenance that runs and drives like an absolute champ. It was imported from Japan in October 2022 and is offered for your consideration.
