1996 MITSUBISHI DELICA EXCEED

SOLD
The year is 1996, and an eager new buyer is sitting in a Mitsubishi sales office in Shizuoka Japan. On the salespersons desk sits an accessory catalog for the L400 Delica Space Gear. The buyer has already decided that the model for them is a hard top, long wheel base, V6-powered, 4WD beast in Summit White. Scrolling the pages, excitement mounts as the buyer first sees a roof rack with a solid platform and full rail - that’s a yes. But now, how to access the rack? A rear mount ladder is a must. But wait, they also want the rear spoiler, so the spoiler compatible ladder it is! The rack makes an excellent place to mount a retractable awning - consider it purchased. One set of front accessory lights is clearly not enough - secondary set ordered! On the inside, the lack of center console seems wasteful. No worry, the new buyer adds a center console fridge unit PLUS a dash-mounted LED navigation unit for good measure. Last, but certainly not least, a full set of “Delica” badged seat covers to keep everything nice and fresh for years to come.

Fast forward to August 2022. Freshly imported, the much-loved Delica receives a once-over including a fresh set of new Falken Wildpeak AT3 all-terrain tires.  It presents with a very tidy interior, runs and drives down the road quite nicely, and is ready to take you North, South, East, West and everywhere in between.
