Once the engine has reached operating temperature, it exhibits an off-idle knock between 1000 and 1500 rpm, which also produces some black smoke out the exhaust. Above 1500 rpm the knock stops and power picks up as expected. When the engine is cold, there is no knock at any rpm. While I have driven it about 30 miles or so in its current state, I would recommend repairing the engine prior to putting many more miles on it. Sold 100% as is. Cosmetically, this is a very tidy short wheel base Space Gear. This Series 2 L400 Delica was imported from Japan in April 2023 and is offered for your consideration.
