The Daihatsu Delta is a rebadged Toyota Dyna. And when we say rebadged, we don't mean "built under license". We mean, this truck was built by Toyota, in Japan, using 100% Toyota parts. The only thing Daihatsu is the badging (which looks awesome on the front end anyways). Under the cab, you've got a bulletproof Toyota 3B 3.4 liter inline 4 diesel engine. Behind the cab, a massive 62.5" x 121.5" bed with drop gates in the style of a 60's Volkswagen single cab (with some minor improvements). A dually rear end contributes to the massive 2,000 kg payload capacity - that's a hair over 4,400 lbs for you US Customary Unit of Measure types. The icing on the cake though, is the impossibly low 8,441 miles. Yes, under 10,000 original miles! It is essentially a new 25 year old truck, with a splash of patina for style. You simply cannot find nice, low mileage, unmolested examples like this anymore in Japan. It was imported in July 2022 and is offered for your consideration.
